OPTION GLOBAL

When we start our Peachtree software we have OPTIONS in the top bar of this software. This option bar is there for giving us some options regarding Accounting and some other things for example

·        Decimal entry.

·        Hide general ledger account.

·        Improve performance.

·        Color scheme.

·        Spellings etc.

First of all we will start our Peachtree software and click on OPTION after this we will click on GLOBAL.

When we click on GLOBAL we have another window on our screen which is below

In this window the first option which is given to us is about ACCOUNTING. As we can see below accounting there is written DECIMAL ENTRY in this section we can increase number of decimals provided to us. For example if we have 3 decimals and we want to increase it because the amount which we want to enter is above 3 decimals we can click on the arrow with 3 there we have options and we can increase our decimals according to requirement. Moreover we can make it Automatic or Mannual.We can hide general ledger account which we have available by clicking on look up button. And then we have some other options like hide inactive accounts etc.

After this we have to shift to GENERAL we have this below window on our screen

This window provides us options regarding improve performance of printing of our page and color scheme etc.

After this we have PEACHTREE PARTNER now we don’t have any Peachtree partner so we are not discussing it here. We will move on to the next which is SPELLINGS. When we click on spellings we have this below window on our screen

This window give us options regarding spellings we can allow computer to check and correct our spellings during typing. Or we can also allow computer to do this work after completing our typing. This window also tells us about the dictionary which the computer is using and some other running options.
